AFL Tonga

In October 2006, the Fitzroy Reds Football Club toured Tonga for 1 week with aim of playing against the Tongan national team in the inaugural Tonga Cup, (see images) immersing in a diverse cultural experience and conducting Australian football coaching clinics in local Tongan community. The Fitzroy Reds visited a number of Tongan primary schools where they donated sports equipment and AFL merchandise.
